RE/MAX Go: The best stories come from a difficult market
21st Dec 2023
The real estate market has always been a challenging area, but what happens when a new real estate brokerage and property consultancy decides to enter the scene in a slowdown? We spoke to the managing partners and chief operating officer of a newly launched agency specialising specifically in commercial property and other related services to find out the answers.
Why now?
In our report, we first asked what inspired the founders of the firm to launch now, at a time of economic slowdown. Representatives from RE/MAX Go Real Estate said that challenging times also bring opportunities.
"When others might be waiting, we'd rather take action," said Dr. Péter Percz, the firm's sales manager and managing partner. "In a slowing economic period, business people and SME executives, who we identify as potential clients, tend to wait to do real estate deals, but we create for them a complex package of services consisting of several elements - such as financing, tendering, consulting, operations, technical, ESG and environmental - at exactly the time they need it and we are already here for our clients to facilitate their real estate transactions."
"Our primary goal is the satisfaction of our clients and the continuous improvement of the already high quality of our real estate brokerage service. Ethical conduct and reliability are of paramount importance to us," said Balázs. "Furthermore, in order to manage our now high volume portfolio of properties for sale and rent more efficiently, we plan to continuously expand the office and recruit a significant number of new colleagues and consultants. In the coming years, we would also like to expand our presence in new areas, thereby broadening our client base."
The latter will be greatly helped by the fact that RE/MAX is the world's largest and one of the best-known international real estate franchise networks, with a broad and extensive international background. The firm's experience to date confirms that the international background does indeed play an important role in the firm's life, with several seller and buyer assignments already coming from the international network.
"Real estate brokerage and consultancy is a complex profession, so we are looking for colleagues who either already have a high level of understanding of the industry and client needs, or are open to becoming experts in their field thanks to the high level of professional training provided by RE/MAX and the office," added Dorottya Pápai, another managing partner of the office and business development director of RE/MAX's Hungarian network. "We offer a wide range of training and development opportunities for the advisors who join us in order to provide the best possible service to our current and future clients."
Dorottya pointed out that in addition to the international and domestic training system, compliance with professional standards and organisational memberships are strong bases for the services provided by the firm. Their quality activities are in line with the recommendations of professional organisations such as RICS and MAISZ.

The RE/MAX Go vision

Balázs Domján, Chief Operating Officer of the agency, detailed the long-term vision and goals of RE/MAX Go."Our primary goal is the satisfaction of our clients and the continuous improvement of the already high quality of our real estate brokerage service. Expansion and recruitment of new consultants
In order to serve an increasing number of domestic and international clients, including companies such as KÉSZ Group, Erste Fund Management Ltd. and Richter Gedeon Chemical Manufacturing Plc., the expansion of the office is planned, but how is this planned to be achieved? According to the interview, RE/MAX Go has an ambitious recruitment plan."Real estate brokerage and consultancy is a complex profession, so we are looking for colleagues who either already have a high level of understanding of the industry and client needs, or are open to becoming experts in their field thanks to the high level of professional training provided by RE/MAX and the office," added Dorottya Pápai, another managing partner of the office and business development director of RE/MAX's Hungarian network.
